Interesting research i found out about cancer

Awareness months
October is breast cancer month (pink ribbons), and November is pancreatic cancer month (purple light campaign/ purple ribbons)!

We are all on the road to loosing weight together and did you know that one of the things loosing weight does is help your risk for cancer. Obesity is one of the higher factors in people who get the cancers listed below. It is researched, however, I am not saying all people who are obese get it, because there are other factors that play key to these as well, but just imagine, if you can take any factor away that you can, why not do it! I know in my family I have had family that have had cancer, or problems in multiple areas listed below. being overweight I believe can also lead to other problems in the following area, not just cancer!

  • Esophagus

  • Pancreas

  • Colon and rectum

  • Breast (after menopause)

  • Endometrium (lining of the uterus)

  • Kidney

  • Thyroid

  • Gallbladder
